Synopsis of the Scheme 项目简介
NSFC Joint Fund for Regional Innovation and Development (Guangdong) is jointly established by NSFC and Guangdong Province. This Fund focuses on solving demand-oriented key technologies problems of Guangdong's strategic industrial clusters. This year, it mainly supported areas of Biology and Agriculture, Energy and Chemical Industry, New Materials and Advanced Manufacturing, Electronic Information, Population and Health Care, etc.
国家自然科学基金区域创新发展联合基金（广东）由国家自然科学基金和广东省联合发起，本年度指南建议注重需求牵引和问题导向，面向广东省战略性产业集群关键核心技术前端科学问题以及前沿科学问题，重点围绕生物与农业、能源与化工、新材料与先进制造、电子信息、人口与健康等领域进行凝练。
Institutional Quota 申报限额
HKUST(GZ) can submit one topic in total. With internal review, the most appropriate topics will be submitted if the received topics exceed the quotas.
我校可报送1项指南建议。如收到的意向反馈数量超过限项要求，科研处将通过内审推选最符合的选题上报广东省科技厅。
Eligibility 申请资质
The proposer should possess a senior professional title, and have experience in hosting at least two general research projects or at least one higher-level research project of NSFC, or provincial key and even higher-level research projects. The proposer should also in line with the NSFC’s quota requirements for project application.
指南建议人应具有高级专业技术职务（职称），有承担国家自然科学基金至少2项面上项目或1项面上以上类型项目的经历，或有承担省级基础研究重点以上项目的经历，并符合国家基金委对项目申请人的限项要求。
Submission 提交方式
The proposer should fill in and submit proposed topics through the online platform (HERE) by the internal deadline.
申报人在内审截止日前通过广东省科技业务管理阳光政务平台（此处）进行填报
Note 注意事项
Please be noted that the proposed topics should feature basic research. Please avoid being biased to the application or using non-basic research glossaries, particularly avoid duplication with other projects already funded by the NSFC and the Ministry of Science and Technology.
指南建议内容应体现基础研究特点，避免偏技术应用，避免出现非基础研究常用词汇。特别需要避免与国家自然科学基金及科技部其他已资助项目的重复。
