Event details

RD organized a proposal preparation workshop for the basic research projects. The workshop is divided into six groups of training. We invite six senior professors of different research areas, such as AI, math, computer science, advanced manufacturing, biology, and chemistry, to provide research-oriented instructions.

This workshop mainly focuses on the content structure and writing skills of research proposals for basic research projects, which will help the project applicants better understand the requirements and expectations from the perspective of reviewers and funding agencies.

Participants can bring their drafted proposal (e.g., proposals for the 2023 Guangzhou-HKUST(GZ) Joint Funding Scheme or 2022 NSFC project) for writing instructions and other guidance in project applications.
