Synopsis of the Scheme
The funding scheme is to support researchers in conducting scientific (technology) research with self-selected research topics, construct a more permissive academic environment, encourage original innovation, and create a batch of research outcomes.
Eligibility
This fund will support young researchers with doctoral degrees.
Applicants should meet all the following requirements:
- The PI shall be fully employed by the affiliated institution and shall be in service during the whole project period.
- The PI shall be under the age of 35, born on or after 1 Jan 1988.
- The PI shall not be awarded other research grants sponsored by GZ-STB or Guangdong-Guangzhou Joint Foundation before as PI.
