  • Synopsis of the Scheme

    The funding scheme is to support researchers in conducting scientific (technology) research with self-selected research topics, construct a more permissive academic environment, encourage original innovation, and create a batch of research outcomes.

    Eligibility

    This fund will support young researchers with doctoral degrees.

    Applicants should meet all the following requirements:

    1. The PI shall be fully employed by the affiliated institution and shall be in service during the whole project period.
    2. The PI shall be under the age of 35, born on or after 1 Jan 1988.
    3. The PI shall not be awarded other research grants sponsored by GZ-STB or Guangdong-Guangzhou Joint Foundation before as PI.
